The silk Scarf

The Setting of The silk Scarf
The story was  set in Oriental Plaza in Fordburg in   Johannesburg.During the apartheid era.
The main Characters
Mrs Nebo
The main character was Mrs Nebo. She  was a lady of a  medium height and she got a heavy loins. She had a smooth-skin completion and she was very particular about wearing clothes with colours that  blended harmoniously. In most cases when she was talking with Mr  Sakur, she  feld that her integrity was challenged and she looses her temper quite often. Additionally, she was  a rich women. Her husband was appointed to become a prime minister for the new government. Lastly, she was a top society  women.
Mr Sakur
Mr Sakur was the shopkeeper at  Moughul Boutique. He was the men of his words and he believed not to to listen to customers. Similarly, he did not worry about Mrs Nebo's occupation. He was the man of focus who would strictly follow instructions. Finally, he wanted to treat Mrs Nebo like the way he treat other customers.  
The summary
"The silk Scarf" by Ahmed Essop discusses Mrs Nebo, the wife of an important politician; Mr Nebo. Mrs Nebo was escorted by two men in blue suits who eat too much potato crisp. She was looking for  a silk Scarf that  will match the dress she bought in a Indian shop. At last she came to the shop  called Moghul Boutique, and Mrs Nebo saw a silk Scarf that would match the dress perfectly and she was so anxious to get it. Unfortunately, Mrs Nebo did not have enough cash to pay for the scarf and she requested to pay with a cheque and the shopkeeper (Mr Sakur) refused to take in the cheque. He defended him self by pointing at the cardboard  which was written "No credit, No Cheques, Cash only". Mrs Nebo was offended by the notice and she said that she won't  leave the shop without the silk Scarf. Margaret tried many ways to convince Mr Sakur  by telling him the occupation of Mrs Nebo and what she possessed, but Mr Sakur was a men of his words who believed not to listen to customers. The other friends of  Mr Sakur (Including Mr Sader) selling there,  considered the argument as an  embarrassment, and they  were afraid of Mrs Nebo that their shop might be closed when Mrs Nebo's husband becomes a prime minister, for that matter they tried to  convince Mr Sakur to take in the cheque but he refused. Finally, they simply they bought the silk scarf for her.
